| St. Petersburg's cheapest hotels are either simple "mini-hotels" - converted apartments that offer bed-and-breakfast-style accommodation - in historic neighborhoods of the city centre, or older large hotels, many of which still have unrenovated rooms at reasonably low prices. The latter are mostly located outside the downtown, but have reasonable transport links to St. Peterburg's top attractions. |
