State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel

The State Hermitage Museum is St. Petersburg's biggest visitor attraction, a byword for Tsarist opulence and the city's immense cultural wealth. There are 126 rooms and suites at the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel, ranging from 25-square-meter Premium Rooms to the magnificent 154-square-meter Presidential Residence with two bedrooms and private terrace. All accommodations at the State Hermitage Museum Hotel are sumptuously fitted with understated opulence and a wealth of period details, including handmade Italian furnishings, combined with state-of-the-art technical amenities. The hotel's public areas and function spaces are similarly grandiose, including the ornate Rossi Ballroom, designed to echo the Grand Throne Hall in the Winter Palace. For on-site dining, there are two full-service restaurants serving Italian and traditional Russian cuisine, and a cozy lobby bar.

The State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel is located in a former Palace of Culture (a workers' club from the Soviet era) on Ultisa Pravdy in the south of St. Petersburg's historic centre, around 700 meters from Nevsky Prospekt, and convenient for Moscow and Vitebsk Railway Stations. While the hotel cannot boast a prime sightseeing location like most of its 5-star rivals, the area around the hotel is peaceful and picturesque, and there is also a free shuttle service running throughout the day direct to the State Hermitage Museum in the Winter Palace.
