State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel

How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport?

It is roughly 20 kilometers by road from Pulkovo Airport to the State Hermitage Museum Hotel. To reach the hotel by transfer or taxi, you should allow around 40 minutes unless you are making the journey during morning peak hours or on a Sunday evening in summer, when it can take much longer. The alternative is to take a bus from outside the terminal building to Moskovskaya Metro Station, and from there travel north on the blue line five stops to Tekhnologicheskiy Institut. Change there to the red line, and continue north two stops to Vladimirskaya, which is just over five minutes' walk from the hotel.

How do I get to the hotel from Moscow Railway Station?

The drive to the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel from Moscow Station takes little over five minutes, so the only disadvantage is that you will be paying a considerable surcharge for a taxi or transfer for a very short journey. If you prefer public transport, take the metro from Ploshchad Vosstaniya (attached to the mainline station) and travel south one stop on the red line to Vladimirskaya. The hotel is only five minutes' walk from the metro.

What visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

While most of St. Petersburg's most popular visitor attractions are a little further than comfortable walking distance from the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel, the hotel does have the advantage of offering a free shuttle service to/from the Hermitage all through the day. Around the hotel, guests can find the Dostoevsky Memorial Museum and the magnificent Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon, and also the landmark Art Nouveau Vitebsk Station.
