How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport?

From Pulkovo-2, the international terminal, it is roughly 18km to the Shelfort Mini-Hotel (Pulkovo-1, the domestic terminal, is a further 2km out of the city). If you pre-book a transfer or take a taxi, the journey will take 40-60 minutes. If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from either terminal to Moskovskaya Metro Station (about 15 minutes' journey). From there, travel north on the blue line seven stops to Nevsky Prospekt and change to the green line from Gostiny Dvor. Travel one stop west to Vasileostrovskaya. On exiting the metro, turn right along Sredniy Prospekt and then take the third right on to 3-ya Linia. The Shelfort is about 20m up the street.

If you are happy to take the metro, from Ladozhskaya Metro Station travel two stops west on the orange line to Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo. Change there to the green line and continue west three stops Vasileostrovskaya. From there it is just over five minutes' walk to the hotel. If you prefer the comfort of a taxi or pre-booked transfer, the drive will take 30-40 minutes.

Vitesbky Station is around 5km from the Shelfort Mini-Hotel. Guests travelling by taxi or pre-booked transfer can expect a drive of 20-30 minutes. Alternatively from Pushkinskaya Metro Station (next to the mainline station) take the red line and travel north two stops to Ploshchad Vosstaniya. How do I get from the hotel to the Mariinsky Theatre?

If you wish to get to the Mariinsky Theatre by public transport from the Shelfort Mini-Hotel, the simplest method is to take a No. 6 bus from the bus stop on the corner of Sredniy Prospekt and 1-ya Linia, about five minutes' walk from the hotel, and travel south four stops to Teatralnaya Ploshchad. The bus stop is around 100m from the Mariinsky.
