If you prefer to use public transport, buses nos. 3, 13, or 113 from the bus stop to the left of the arrivals lounge exit at Pulkovo to Moskovskaya Metro Station, about 15 minutes' journey. From there, take the blue metro line north and travel seven stops to Nevsky Prospekt. Exit the metro onto Kanal Griboedova, and walk the last 500m to the hotel right down Nevsky Prospekt and left along the Moika River (Naberezhnaya Reki Moiki).

It is just over 3km from Moskovsky Station to the Arkadia Hotel. By taxi or pre-booked transfer, the drive to the hotel will take 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, take the metro from Mayakovskaya Metro Station (attached to the mainline station) and travel one stop west on the green line to Gostiny Dvor. How do I get to the hotel from Ladozhsky Station?

Ladozhsky Station is in the east of St. Petersburg, roughly 9km from the Arkadia Hotel. Guests taking taxis or pre-booked transfers will reach the hotel in 30-40 minutes. The public transport alternative is to take the metro from Ladozhskaya Metro Station and travel west on the orange line two stops to Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo. Change there to the green line and continue westbound two stops to Gostiny Dvor. Exit the station from the rear of the train onto Kanal Griboedova, and walk right along Nevsky Prospekt until you reach the Moika River. Turn left down the embankment, and the Arkadia Hotel is on your left just past Ulitsa Gorokhovaya (about 300m).

When you reach Nevsky Prospekt, cross the street and head left until you reach the archway of the General Staff Building on your right. The archway leads through to Palace Square, with the Winter Palace directly opposite. The visitor entrance for the Hermitage is in the west wing of the building.

How do I get from the hotel to the Mariinsky Theatre?

The quickest way to reach the Mariinsky Theatre from the Arkadia Hotel is to take a K306 marshrutka minibus westbound from Gorokhovaya Ulitsa (on leaving the hotel, cross the Moika River, and there is a bus stop on your left). The minibus takes 10-15 minutes to reach Teatralnaya Ploshchad and the Mariinsky.

What visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

The Arkadia Hotel is within walking distance of most of St. Petersburg's major visitor attractions, including the Hermitage and Palace Square. The closest major sight to the hotel is St. Isaac's Cathedral, which is only 200m from the hotel across the Moika River. To reach the cathedral, guests walk past the Mariinsky Palace, St. Petersburg's "City Hall", and across the historic Blue Bridge, the broadest in the city.
