| Very sound service, but expensive restaurant... |
| I was there in July 2011. The room was nice just as I expected: by no means cutting edge, but very comfortable. Front desk was helpful, but I barely spoke to them apart from check-in and check-out. The Concierge took very good care of us suggesting a good night club and taking care of taxi arrangement and - later - arranging for restaurant bookings. We probably were a bit of a pain, but she definitely wanted to make us happy... :-) Lobby bar was cozy and offered nice street views. The restaurant looked classy, but was rather expensive so we preferred to eat out. I had to admit we liked the buffet breakfast. All in all, it was pleasant experience and St. Petersburg definitely stood up to my expectations. Don't expect to be back soon, but who knows! :-) |
