The archway leads through to Palace Square opposite the Winter Palace. The main visitor entrance to the Hermitage is in the west wing of the palace. The walk will take 25-30 minutes, and guests may prefer to take a bus. From the stops on the opposite side of Nevsky Prospekt, all trolleybuses and almost all buses will take you the three stops down Nevsky. |
