| I stayed 4 nights in this hotel at the end of November 2008 and was very happy there. The only down side was the breakfast was a bit expensive if you weren't a large eater in the morning. There was only the one price for breakfast and if you only took cereal and coffee it wasn't worth it. I discovered a few days before I left that I was able to have a sandwich and coffee in the foyer bar quite cheap and that is what I did. The business lunch was very cheap and the food was excellent. The hotel's situation coudn't have been better as I didn't need transport to see all the sites. Although I did take a taxi to go to the Mariinsky Theatre at night. The room was very well equipped and the staff were excellent and could speak good English. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend this hotel. |

| Great place to stay |
| I was here in 2005 and the place was the best deal, rooms were clean, heated bathroom floors, comfortable rooms, staff was friendly and accomodating, computer access, rest, bars and best of all was walking distance to everything, Winter Palace, Hermitage, St.Isaacs Cathedral down the street. I look forward to going back. Great deal! |
