The Arbat Nord Hotel is a pleasant mid-range mini-hotel offering good value accommodation in a fairly central location. The hotel wins praise for its cleanliness and its friendly, multilingual staff, as well as its consistently low rates.
Located only a few blocks from Nevsky Prospekt on a quiet side street, the Arbat Nord has 33 comfortable and well equipped modern rooms with simple but stylish decor. There is a whole floor of non-smoking rooms and also a pretty mansard level. Although the hotel does not have a wide range of amenities, it does have a popular restaurant with a good menu for seafood, and the staff are able to provide a full spectrum of concierge services.
The Arbat Nord Hotel is situated in the historic centre of the city about ten minutes' walk from Peter the Great's Summer Garden and the impressive Engineer's Castle. It is possible to walk from the hotel to major attractions such as the Hermitage and the State Russian Museum, the route taking you through some of the most picturesque parts of St. Petersburg. The nearest metro station, Chernyshevskaya, is just over five minutes' walk away.
