How do I get from the hotel to the Mariinsky Theatre?

The Mariinsky Theatre is not easily reached by metro, so guests are generally recommended to take a taxi to the theatre (about 20 minutes' drive). Alternatively, take the metro from Ploshchad Vosstaniya and travel one stop south to Vladimirskaya. Change there to the orange line, and continue your journey one stop to Spasskaya. On leaving the metro, head to the Griboedov Canal, where marshrutka minibuses will take you the final 1.5km to the Mariinsky.

What visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

The main sightseeing area of St. Petersburg is about 2km west of the Nevsky Express up Nevsky Prospekt, easily accessed by bus or metro. In the opposite direction is the Alexander Nevsky Monastery, the attractions of which include several historic churches and a cemetery with many famous graves including those of Dostoevsky and Tchaikovsky.
