Marriott Courtyard Vasilievsky

How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport?

The Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Vasilievskiy is located roughly 22 kilometers from Pulkovo Airport, so the journey by taxi or pre-arranged transfer will take around half an hour in all but the heaviest traffic. If you prefer to use public transport, take any bus from outside the arrivals lounge to Moskovskaya Metro Station, and there get a northbound train on the blue line. Travel seven stops to Nevsky Prospekt and change to the green line. Continue one stop east to Vasileostrovskaya. The metro station is just over ten minutes' walk from the hotel.

How do I get to the hotel from Moscow Railway Station?

It is nearly seven kilometers from Moscow Railway Station to the Courtyard by Marriott, so if you are taking a taxi or have booked a transfer, the drive will take roughly 15 minutes. By public transport, the journey will take only a little bit longer, although it is not very convenient if you're travelling with heavy luggage. Enter the metro from the mainline station concourse, and head for the green line (Mayakovskaya Metro Station). Travel west two stops to Vasileostrovskaya, and from there it is just over a kilometer on foot to the Marriott Courtyard.

What visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

The Courtyard by Marriott Vasilevskiy is just north of the historic centre of Vasilevskiy Island, a little over 15 minutes' walk from Birzhevaya Ploshchad, where you can see the Stock Exchange, the Rostral Columns and spectacular views across the river to the Winter Palace and the Peter and Paul Fortress. There is little of interest in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, with the possible exception of the Yubileyny Stadium, a venue for hockey matches and big concerts, across the Tuchkov Bridge and, beyond it, the Prince Vladimir Cathedral.
