How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport?

If you are travelling by taxi or transfer, the drive to the Courtyard by Marriott is just under 20 kilometers, and will take roughly 30 minutes. As there is no metro station within comfortable walking distance of the hotel, the journey by public transport is complicated and lengthy. Take any bus from outside the Terminal building at Pulkovo to Moskovskaya Metro Station. Travel north on the blue line six stops to Sennaya Ploshchad. From there, you can take any bus or marshrutka minibus service south on Sadovaya Ulitsa to Ploshchad Turgeneva. The hotel is around two minutes' walk from the bus stop.

How do I get to the hotel from Moscow Railway Station?

The simplest way to reach the hotel from the station is certainly to arrange a transfer in advance. If you do this, or take a taxi, the drive to the Courtyard Center West/Pushkin will take around 20 minutes in moderate traffic. If you prefer to use public transport, the journey is also quite painless. On exiting Moscow Station, turn left across Ligovsky Prospekt and right across Nevsky Prospekt to find the bus stop in front of the Stockmann Nevsky Center shopping mall. From here, take a 181 bus eleven stops to Ploshchad Turgeneva. From there it is only two minutes' walk to the hotel.

What visitor attractions are located near the hotel?

The area around the Courtyard Center West/Pushkin is among the oldest in St. Petersburg, but contains few major visitor attractions. The hotel is reasonably close to the Mariinsky Theatre, which can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. On the way, you pass the pretty Neo-Byzantine Church of Ss. Isidor and Nicholas (the Estonian Orthodox Church) and the magnificent St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral. And, if you seek it out, you will also be able to find St. Petersburg's Grand Choral Synagogue, which is an equally impressive building, but carefully hidden from street view.
