Guyot Hotel

Nearest metro: Petrogradskaya

The Guyot Hotel is one of the few accommodation options available on the Petrograd Side, one of St. Petersburg's most attractive and fashionable neighborhoods. The area abounds in beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, and it's main avenue - Bolshoi Prospekt - is lined with up-market boutiques, cafes, and bars.

The nearest metro station, Petrogradskaya, is only five minutes' walk from the Guyot Hotel, and from there it is only two stops to Nevsky Prospekt Station (for the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, and St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals).

Pulkovo International Airport, to the south of the city, is around 20km from the Guyot Hotel, and can be reached in 40 minutes to an hour by car. All the city's mainline stations are within 30 minutes' drive of the hotel.

Local Sightseeing

Thanks to its good public transport links, all of St. Petersburg's major visitor attractions are easily accessed from the Guyot Hotel. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel on Aptekarsky Island, the city's Botanical Gardens have a remarkable collection of flora, particularly considering the northern climate, and provide a pleasant setting for a stroll.

The same is true of Kammeniy Island, which can be reached in about 15 minutes' walk from the Guyot Hotel. Once the site of St. Petersburg's most exclusive dacha colony, it still has several streets of beautiful villas and a couple of architecturally interesting historic churches.

Moving close to the city centre along Kamenoostrovskiy Prospekt, visitors will find the Alexander Park around Gorkovskaya Metro, St. Petersbueg's impressive Mosque, and the Peter and Paul Fortress.
