Situated in one of the most attractive corners of St. Petersburg's historic centre, next to Tavrichesky (Tauride) Gardens and about 20 minutes' walk from Nevsky Prospekt, the Austrian Yard is a cozy and elegant mini-hotel offering studio-style accommodation with self-catering facilities.

Family run, the Austrian Yard has only four rooms, each on a separate floor of a wing of a 19th century apartment building, and is accessed through a pretty and secure courtyard. As well as comfortable and very reasonably priced accommodation, the Austrian Yard offers a wide range of concierge services, as well as a sauna and billiard table for the use of guests. The only inconvenience at the Austrian Yard is the lack of Internet access.

The location of the Austrian Yard, although some distance from St. Petersburg's major visitor attractions, offers convenient public transport links, with Chernyshevskaya Metro Station under five minutes' walk away. The area around the hotel is one of central St. Petersburg's smarter residential neighborhoods, and Furshtatskaya Ulitsa is a pleasantly leafy boulevard home to several consulates, including the Austrian Consulate, next to the hotel. Safety and peace are guaranteed at the Austrian Yard.
