Opened in 2003 as a basic mini-hotel, the Art Hotel Rachmaninov has since been renovated and expanded. It takes its name from the fact that part of the property was once the home of Sergei Rachmaninov's aunt, where the great composer stayed as a teenager studying at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire. True to the concept of 'antique hotel', Hotel Rachmaninov comprises 26 guest rooms furnished and decorated in an elegant traditional style and graced with original antique furniture.
