A stylish and comfortable small hotel on Kazanskaya Ulitsa, just a few steps from Kazan Cathedral and Nevsky Prospekt, the Antique Hotel Rachmaninov provides elegant accommodation in a friendly, intimate atmosphere in the very heart of the historic center of St. Petersburg.
Opened in 2003 as a basic mini-hotel in a former communal apartment, the Antique Hotel Rachmaninov has since been renovated and expanded. It takes its name from the fact that part of the property was once the home of Sergei Rachmaninov's aunt, where the great composer stayed as a teenager studying at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire. The hotel now comprises 26 guest rooms furnished and decorated in an elegant traditional style, and a charming public space that can be used for meetings and events, as well as hosting the hotel's breakfast and acting as a pleasant lobby bar. The hotel is affiliated to two nearby galleries, and original works of art and photography are displayed throughout the property. All rooms are covered by complimentary WiFi access.
The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing, with major attractions like the Hermitage Museum and St. Isaac's Cathedral only a few minutes' walk away. Guests are also ideally placed to explore the finest of St. Petersburg's downtown dining, shopping, and nightlife. Nevsky Prospekt and Gostiny Dvor metro stations are less than five minutes' from the hotel.
