Located on Ulitsa Rubinshteina, which has become something of a Mecca for exotic dining in St. Petersburg, Mops is the city's only specialist Thai restaurant. Those who expect Thai food to be cheap and filling will be disappointed, as the menu here is sophisticated and comes in small portions. It is, however, of very high quality, with the kitchen staff and the ingredients brought direct from Thailand. The tiled interiors are stylish and cozy, there is live lounge music most evenings, and pleasant seating outdoors in the summer. There's also a good range of cocktails at the bar.
