Open for over a decade next to the Fontanka River, Caravan is an atmospheric restaurant offering filling Uzbek and Caucasian dishes at reasonable prices. The interiors are lavishly decorated in a mixture of Oriental styles that is matched by the menu which, although ostensibly Uzbek, in fact features a range of Eastern cuisine, heavy on hearty soups and grilled meat, with plenty of Russian options for the less adventurous.
