The easiest way to get around the city is to walk from the hotel to Ploshchad Repina, about ten minutes' walk from the hotel. From there, bus services run to several metro stations, the most convenient being Sennaya Ploshchad/Sadovaya/Spasskaya, 10-15 minutes' ride away. How do I get to the hotel from Pulkovo Airport? It is roughly 15km from Pulkovo-2 (the international terminal) and 17km from the domestic terminal (Pulkovo-1) to the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. For guests travelling by taxi or pre-booked transfer, the journey will take 30-50 minutes. Public transport links to the hotel are not great, and the only realistic option is to take a bus from the airport to Moskovskaya Metro Station (buses Nos. 3, 13, or 113 from the bus stop to the left of the arrivals lounge exit at Pulkovo-2 and the No. 39 bus from outside Sector B of the arrivals lounge at Pulkovo-1). From Moskovskaya Metro Station, take the blue line and travel north six stops to Sennaya Ploshchad. On exiting the metro, turn left onto Sadovaya Ulitsa, cross the street, and take a 181 bus to the final stop on Ploshchad Repina. From there, it is approximately ten minutes' walk to the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. |

Change there to the orange line and continue south one stop to Spasskaya. Exit the metro via Sadovaya Station, and take a southbound 181 bus (there are also various marshrutka minibus services) to Ploshchad Repina, which is around ten minutes' walk from the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. How do I get from the hotel to the Hermitage? There are two options to get to the Hermitage from the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. If your plans allow you to take the hotel's free shuttle bus to Sennaya Ploshchad, then the simplest option is to take the metro from there one stop north on the blue line to Nevsky Prospekt. Exit the metro from the front of the train, cross the Griboedov Canal, and walk down Nevsky until you reach the archway of the General Staff Building, which leads onto Palace Square. If you have to use public transport, walk from the hotel to Ulitsa Dekabristov (five minutes from the hotel), and take a northbound 22 bus five stops to the Malaya Morskaya Ulitsa stop, which is a few steps from the General Staff Building. The visitor entrance to the Hermitage is in the west wing of the Winter Palace, on the north side of the square. |
