It is roughly 15km from Pulkovo-2 (the international terminal) and 17km from the domestic terminal (Pulkovo-1) to the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. For guests travelling by taxi or pre-booked transfer, the journey will take 30-50 minutes. Public transport links to the hotel are not great, and the only realistic option is to take a bus from the airport to Moskovskaya Metro Station (buses Nos. 3, 13, or 113 from the bus stop to the left of the arrivals lounge exit at Pulkovo-2 and the No. 39 bus from outside Sector B of the arrivals lounge at Pulkovo-1). From Moskovskaya Metro Station, take the blue line and travel north six stops to Sennaya Ploshchad. On exiting the metro, turn left onto Sadovaya Ulitsa, cross the street, and take a 181 bus to the final stop on Ploshchad Repina. From there, it is approximately ten minutes' walk to the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. |

If you wish to travel by public transport, take the metro from Ploshchad Vosstaniya and travel south one stop to Vladimirskaya. Change there to the orange line and continue south one stop to Spasskaya. Exit the metro via Sadovaya Station, and take a southbound 181 bus (there are also various marshrutka minibus services) to Ploshchad Repina, which is around ten minutes' walk from the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. Undoubtedly the simplest option, however, is to take a taxi or transfer. The 6km journey will take 20-30 minutes. |

By public transport, take the metro from Zvenigorodskaya (accessed via Pushkinskaya, next to the mainline station) and travel one stop north on the purple line to Sadovaya. How do I get from the hotel to the Hermitage?
There are two options to get to the Hermitage from the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. If your plans allow you to take the hotel's free shuttle bus to Sennaya Ploshchad, then the simplest option is to take the metro from there one stop north on the blue line to Nevsky Prospekt. Exit the metro from the front of the train, cross the Griboedov Canal, and walk down Nevsky until you reach the archway of the General Staff Building, which leads onto Palace Square. If you have to use public transport, walk from the hotel to Ulitsa Dekabristov (five minutes from the hotel), and take a northbound 22 bus five stops to the Malaya Morskaya Ulitsa stop, which is a few steps from the General Staff Building. The visitor entrance to the Hermitage is in the west wing of the Winter Palace, on the north side of the square. |

The Mariinsky Theatre is around 20 minutes' walk from the Admiralteyskaya Hotel. Turn right then right again out of the hotel, cross the Pryazhka River and walk straight up Ulitsa Dekabristov. It is about 500m up the street to Teatralnaya Ploshchad and the Mariinsky Theatre, passing the Mariinsky Concert Hall on your left. |

Apart from the Mariinsky Theatre, which is within walking distance of the Admiralteyskaya Hotel, other visitor attractions in the area include the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral, one of St. Petersburg's most beautiful baroque churches, and the neo-Byzantine Church of St. Isidor, which was built for the city's Estonian Orthodox congregation in 1907. Closer to the hotel on Lermontovskiy Prospekt, the Grand Choral Synagogue is the second-largest in Europe and is a magnificent building in the Moorish Revival style.
